Chris Reed is the CEO of Iron Data Public Sector, which provides Intelligent Process Management Solutions to the Federal, State and Local markets. These include Case Management for Benefits Entitlement, Licensing & Regulation Systems and Case Management for Court Systems.
Prior to joining Iron Data, Reed served as Vice President of Strategic Development for ChoicePoint Government Services (CGS), where he was responsible for the direction of CGS external technology investments and strategic partnerships. He arrived at ChoicePoint after they acquired, EzGov, Inc., an e-government software company of which Reed was part of the founding team. During his tenure at EzGov, he held executive management positions over both Service Delivery and Global Sales and later became the Chief Operating Officer.
Reed began his career in technology, working for both Accenture and Bank of America. He received his degree from Emory University.
Brock Philp
President, Public Sector
Brock Philp is the President of Iron Data’s Licensing and Regulation division. He is responsible for marketplace expansion and overall corporate operations. This includes business strategy, product direction and profitability. He brings to this position 24 years of business experience with a proven track record of successful leadership. His professional assets include account management, business to business marketing, operations management, sales management, leadership and people development and global business skills.
Prior to joining Versa Systems, Philp served as the CEO of Jonas Software which is a division of Constellation Software. His past positions include: Vice President of Business Development, CGI (Outsourcing, Systems Integration); Vice President of Global Sales, Minacom (Quality Assurance Software); General Manager at Bell Canada. He has also held key roles at Lucent Canada and St. Lawrence Cement.
Philp received his Business Administration Diploma from Seneca College, an MBA from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Administrative studies from York University.
Will Anderson oversees operations of Iron Data's Versa Systems and CAVU business units. In this role Anderson manages the solution delivery and technical development groups and is responsible for setting operation strategy and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Anderson is an experienced software executive with extensive experience working across a range of different vertical markets including construction, logistics and distribution to deliver mission critical applications to hundreds of clients. His primary focus is to improve the client experience with our licensing and regulation products and services through the implementation of development and deployment best practice. Prior to joining Iron Data Anderson was a Division President with a leading international software company where he oversaw sales and operations for five product lines.
Anderson holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honors Degree from Queen's University.
Tom Gottlieb is responsible for product strategy, policy and direction, and senior account management for the Licensing and Regulation division at Iron Data. He is a leading visionary for government regulation in North America and brings this insight to establishing Iron Data as the leading supplier of licensing and enforcement solutions in the marketplace.
Gottlieb is a recognized North American expert on regulatory practices, legislation and reform. He serves as co-chair of various committees for the Council on Licensure Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR). In this role, Gottlieb leads a committee which determines content for the Council's annual conference and he is a regular speaker and session coordinator for CLEAR. Prior to joining Versa, Gottlieb owned a mid-sized software company providing business application software development and consulting services.
He received his M.A.Sc. Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and is a licensed member of Professional Engineers Ontario.
Jim MacLaggan is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Iron Data’s Eastern Region, responsible for sales efforts across 37 states in North America. He provides strategic and tactical leadership in pursuit of new business opportunities for state and federal government regulatory agencies. MacLaggan is responsible for managing senior-level relationships with system integrators and lobbying firms to pursue large public sector procurements.
MacLaggan has over 15 years of experience working in and with Public Sector entities and serves as a subject matter expert on regulatory solutions. In addition, MacLaggan is Iron Data’s Executive Sponsor on the $45M Enterprise Licensing System (ELS) project in Minnesota. Governor Tim Pawlenty’s Executive Order established licensing as one of Minnesota’s top priorities for improving government and citizen service. The Minnesota ELS project represents the largest and most innovative project of its kind in North America.
He received his Bachelors degree from Memorial University.
Vernon Adams oversees the IT aspects of the Public Sector of Iron Data as well as working with the different development organizations to ensure high quality software development.
Prior to joining Iron Data, Adams served as AVP of Product Development, Public Sector for ChoicePoint Government Services (CGS), where he created and was responsible for the product development organization within the US Government Services. Adams has worked in software development for more than thirty-five years and has worked in public sector software development for more than ten years.
He received his Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee and his Masters in Information and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
