Atlanta, Georgia; May 25, 2011 - The Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance selected Iron Data to implement its Commercial Off-the-Shelf regulatory solution. This selection by the Department extended Iron Data’s position as the leading provider of regulatory solutions. In addition, Iron Data has extensive experience implementing systems for financial regulatory agencies which was a key factor in Iron Data’s selection by the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance. This application is mission critical to the Department of Banking and Finance and also to the citizens of the State of Nebraska, as the new system will enable the Department to more efficiently supervise and track financial entities thereby protecting and maintaining public confidence. The Department evaluated vendors on a number of criteria but Iron Data stood out based on the breadth and depth of solution that was offered; their extensive references, their industry expertise and subject matter knowledge, and their ability to implement the system in a short timeframe. The project timeline established was extremely tight and was scheduled to be completed in only 30 days to meet a legislative mandate and to minimize the disruption to Department staff, manage risk and deliver benefits quickly. Iron Data’s implementation services include project management, business process change, full service data conversion, acceptance testing, production support, and system and end user training. The Department regulates approximately 30 categories of financial entities and service providers and over 100,000 individuals in the state. The Department’s responsibilities include public protection, licensing, registering, billing, fining, enforcement, investigations, and resolving consumer complaints. Iron Data’s licensing and enforcement solutions are designed and developed specifically for regulatory agencies like the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance. “This project was a testament to the resolve of the Department to get the system implemented quickly. They were responsive, made informed decisions, and worked tirelessly to hit the go-live date. This was a 30-day implementation from contract signing to go-live, which is simply amazing and, frankly, unheard of in our market,” says Jim MacLaggan, Vice President at Iron Data. About Iron Data
